Michelle King is an accredited HR Professional registered with the (SABPP) as an HR Practitioner in the category of Generalist (Registration number 7686) and also a registered student social worker with (SACSSP) Reg number, 40-31356.
Most recently chosen as a candidate to be represented in the 2015 Worldwide Branding Registry of Distinguished Professionals and executives, her candidacy was formally approved on 2 February 2015.
In October 2014 she was elected to be the Task Team convenor of the Department of Social Development Provincial steering committee. She was also the head of the task team for CANE and PEIP strategy where they compiled a manual for the prevention of child abuse neglect and exploitation which is due for tabling at Parliament, with the aim of becoming a policy instrument going forward.
She has also been awarded an honorary membership with South Africa Business Network and qualified for inclusion in the 2012 edition of the World Business Almanac. The DNR Foundation also nominated her to be their global think tank member.
She is currently studying towards an Honours degree Bachelor of Social Work (BSW 02054 – NEW CURRICULUM) and a postgraduate certificate through GIBS and University of Pretoria in Leadership Development and Social Entrepreneurship.
